Anthony Kubanin of Ontario, Canada, has been named the International Association of Conference Centers’ (IACC) seventh Board Associate. Member properties in the United States and Canada nominated candidates who were exceptional staff members under the age of 30.
“We were thrilled with the quality of applications we received this year,” states T.J. Fimmano, IACC president, “and Anthony Kubanin really stood out as someone with passion and vision who could build on the great work of those who have held this coveted position before him.”
Kubanin, who currently works at Ivey Spencer Leadership Center in Toronto as an Information Technology Analyst, will represent Generation X/Y on the IACC Board of Directors. He will focus on detecting and advising the board on emerging trends. As the youngest Board Associate yet, Kubanin is a member of Generation Y, the generation born in the late 1980s and early 1990s. This demographic is usually regarded as familiar with digital and electronic technology.
