etouches, a global provider of event management software solutions, has been named a “Leader” in event management software, earning top marks for customer satisfaction and market presence in the G2 Crowd Winter 2018 report.

etouches earned its ranking based on users’ praise for the platform as a comprehensive, end-to-end event management solution.

Users also gave high marks to etouches tools to enhance attendee engagement and satisfaction, while delivering a proven return on investment.

“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition,” says Oni Chukwu, CEO of etouches. “During the past few years, we’ve integrated robust new offerings into our platform to create a data-driven solution that supports every step of the event lifecycle.

etouches recognition on G2 Crowd caps off a string of recent accolades in 2017.

“25 Most Influential People in Business Travel and Business Travel News” and “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry” were two awards given to Chukwu.

“Our approach is resonating with customers, as shown by the latest G2 Crowd rankings,” added Chukwu. “We look forward to continuing to serve our customers with solutions that streamline event planning and management and transform events for the better for all participants.”

When the Chicago Architecture Center opens at its new home at 111 East Wacker Drive this August, the city will gain a new cultural destination—and event planners will gain a sparkling new venue to consider for events.

“The view of the river and prominent buildings at that corner is breathtaking,” says Deb Rodak, manager of group sales and business development for the 20,000-square-foot facility, situated above the dock for Chicago’s First Lady Cruises.

The theme “We’re ready to help” shines throughout the new 2018 Meeting Planners Guide to Michigan Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (MACBV).

The Meet in Michigan guide, produced in partnership with the MACVB and Michigan Meetings + Events magazine, is packed with creative help for meeting planners.

According to the annual Salary Survey conducted by Convene, the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) industry leading magazine, event organizers received an average income increase of nearly seven percent in the last year. That’s more than twice the North American average.
