Food trucks may be mobile, but they aren’t going anywhere, since their popularity only seems to grow with each season. A New Jersey hotel is getting in on the fun! Along with over 18,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, offers the Grain & Cane “Gastro Truck” as a fun option for a mid-meeting break or post-event dining option. The mobility of the truck allows for the hotel to have a smaller scale menu and adapt to guests’ changing tastes.

The Gastro Truck offers a variety of signature sandwiches, with highlights including the Short Dip featuring braised short rib, smoked provolone, crispy shallot, and horseradish spread and the CCBLT, a twist on the BLT featuring a fresh crab cake and old bay mayo. The menu can also be completely customized to meet groups’ varied needs.

According to the annual Salary Survey conducted by Convene, the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) industry leading magazine, event organizers received an average income increase of nearly seven percent in the last year. That’s more than twice the North American average.

Senior Planners Industry Network (SPIN) will be partnering with event management software provider Hubb once again for SPINCon 2018. SPINCon organizers first utilized Hubb at last year’s con and found the single-source event technology to be incredibly useful for storing and editing content.
