Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in Palm Beach County, FL added new team-building events to encourage corporate groups to take a break from the traditional meeting room.

Group-specific additions include: tours of the Intracoastal Waterway by kayak, snorkeling at a large barrier reef, surf and paddle board lessons, a paint and wine sipping combo-class, fishing excursions, beach games and bonfires.

Non-motorized water sports at the resort’s private beach, as well as two outdoor pools are also available.

These experiences are designed to embrace the destination, showcase the resort’s amenities, and ignite inspiration for meetings.

Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa’s 193 suites come equipped with kitchens, living rooms and private balconies adjacent to the 3800 Ocean restaurant.

The family-focused, Wisconsin-based Great Wolf Lodge opened its first resort in Wisconsin Dells in 1997. Over the next two decades, it slowly expanded with more properties around the Midwest, moving into the Northeast, South, West and Canada. And this summer, the greater Chicago area will get its first resort from the brand.

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (L.A. Tourism) recently announced its record-setting economic impact for the previous year. Los Angeles County’s 48.5 million visitors spent an all-time high in 2017, generating a record $34.9 billion in total economic impact (including $22.7 billion spent directly in the L.A. economy).

Owned by the Mt. Washington Summit Road Company (MWSRC) and managed by Olympia Hotel Management, The Glen House, a new 68-room hotel at the base of Mt. Washington, is under construction in Pinkham Notch in New Hampshire's White Mountains and is expected to open in mid-September 2018.
