Maite Kuhns, a corporate trainer and recruiter for Parasole restaurants has been named the Hospitality Hero award winner for fourth quarter by 2017 by Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association. This honor that is nominated by their colleagues, is given quarterly to a member who has made valuable contributions to the image and culture within the Minneapolis hospitality community.

Kuhn’s primary job at Parasole is training new employees who will be working at one of the company’s restaurants. Parasole’s restaurants include Chino Latino, Libertine, and Manny’s Steakhouse. “Maite is a hidden gem in Minneapolis. I wish more people knew about her positivity. She is a great asset to this city,” says Matthew Engel, a former colleague of Maite Kuhns. “Ask any person about Matie and their faces will light up.”

Maite has demonstrated superior hospitality with Parasole restaurants for over eight years. Her contagious positivity has impacted the entire company and this honor is well deserved.
