The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center recently announced the completion of a $6.2 million renovation of its guest suits and corridors. All 228 redesigned rooms contain artwork featuring Colorado landscapes and landmarks paired with a new color scheme of gold and gray with pops of bright blue. All revamped suits include full-sized kitchens with granite countertops, refrigerators and dishwashers, along with updated bathrooms and living rooms.

The Residence Inn by Marriot Denver City is located in the heart of downtown and provides 1,742 square feet of urban event space. Amenities include free high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast and a fitness center.

According to the annual Salary Survey conducted by Convene, the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) industry leading magazine, event organizers received an average income increase of nearly seven percent in the last year. That’s more than twice the North American average.

Senior Planners Industry Network (SPIN) will be partnering with event management software provider Hubb once again for SPINCon 2018. SPINCon organizers first utilized Hubb at last year’s con and found the single-source event technology to be incredibly useful for storing and editing content.

The boutique Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach Resorts recently completed a refresh to its 24 guest accommodations, just in time for Pebble Beach Resorts’ 2019 centennial celebration. Highlights of the award-winning design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) include interior and technology upgrades to preserve the distinct style of the boutique property, such as its trellised walkways, gardens, wooden doors and iron gates, and fireplaces adorning each suite.
