• Ritz-Carlton, Denver announces new general manager Tabish Siddiquie

The Ritz-Carlton, Denver has announced Tabish Siddiquie as its new General Manager. Over 20 years, Siddiquie has honed his hospitality skills around the world and will now oversee daily operations for the hotel’s various divisions. He will head finance, sales and marketing, meetings and events, guestrooms, and the property’s prominent outlets ELWAY’S Downtown and The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Denver.

Tabish has been with Marriott International since 1999 when he started at the Goa Marriott Resort in Goa, India. His obvious talent helped him move up the company quickly and moved to the United States to join The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland. Siddiquie continued to deliver amazing results in not only Cleveland, but also during his return to the Goa Marriott Resort. In 2005, he broadened his experience with leadership roles at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman followed by The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota. He continued on to open iconic properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty in Kazakhstan as Executive Assistant Manager and Director of Operations. Tabish returned to the United States in 2015 when he accepted his most recent role as Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco.

Tabish received a degree from the Institute of Hotel Management in Goa, India, majoring in Hotel Management & Catering Technology. He currently resides in Denver with his wife Kristen and two young children Eliza and Zain. Tabish enjoys tennis, the outdoors and exploring great food and restaurants.

Lela Restaurant has rolled out new lunch and dinner menus, created by new executive chef Thomas Orbison.

Chef Orbison discovered his passion and talent for cooking following his career in the United States Air Force. “After six years in the military, I developed a passion for cooking and moved to Paris to study at Le Cordon Bleu, which is like Harvard for chefs,” said Oribson.

Now that he’s back in Minnesota for the first time since 2004, Oribson is excited to launch some new entrees in the southwest metro.

 

Hilton recently named Martin Rinck as global head of the brand's Luxury & Lifestyle Group.

In his new role, Rinck will be responsible for all strategic development, brand innovation and leadership initiatives for Hilton’s portfolio, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

Rinck will also oversee the continued growth of Hilton’s newest lifestyle brand, Canopy by Hilton.

 

Skyline Exhibits, a leading trade show marketing company, has announced Mark Gomilla has been named the general manager of its Regional Service Center in Chicago.

Gomilla, is no stranger to Skyline having worked within the Skyline dealer organization for more than 10 years. He was most recently the president of Skyline Exhibit Resource, a Skyline dealership in De Pere, Wisconsin. Gomilla had also previously managed the service side of business.
