• ROOH Chicago introduces new Diwali menu

In celebration of Diwali, ROOH Chicago, a Progressive Indian restaurant and cocktail bar, is offering an exclusive, ticketed tasting menu on Sunday, Oct. 27. The menu features a four-course meal for $85 per plate, including gratuity and taxes.

Diwali is the New Year and Hindu festival of lights, which is one of the most important Indian celebrations. ROOH Chicago, which opened this past May, wanted to offer a special menu to honor and celebrate this Indian tradition. The restaurant also offers special menus for other holidays and events and is currently planning a unique New Year's Eve menu.

ROOH Chicago also features a variety of event space, including the exclusive ROOH Underground. Located on the lower level of the restaurant, ROOH Underground offers an intimate private dining experience for 10-12 guests. Other spaces include the Jhoomar Dining Room (40 seated, 55 standing), ROOH Lounge (35 seated, 50 standing), and Guldasta Dining Room (40 seated, 50 standing). ROOH Chicago also offers a second floor buyout option for up to 100 guests.

Other events coming up at ROOH Chicago are an UNWINED event with Roger Bissell on Oct. 15 and soon-to-be-announced New Year's Eve programming. 

The widely recognized Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa, & Convention Center of Branson, Missouri, has captured the coveted “Best of MidAmerica Award” from Meetings Today magazine. Readers of the magazine determined recipients of the award, voting on a handful of the top MidAmerica meeting sites based off of quality of meeting space, guest rooms, services and amenities, food and beverage offerings, staff, availability of technical equipment, recreational facilities and activities, and overall experience.

 

Oklahoma City officials recently unveiled the MAPS 3 Oklahoma City Convention Center’s new brand featuring a colorful, high-energy logo.

“Everyone has seen the rise of the MAPS 3 Oklahoma City Convention Center on the east side of Scissortail Park, and its completion will be another MAPS game-changer for our City,” says Mayor David Holt. “Today’s logo unveiling is another milestone on that path.”
