  • The Rose Hotel Chicago O'Hare Recognized with 2018 Hilton Legacy Award

Situated just outside of Chicago, The Rose Hotel Chicago O'Hare is nestled conveniently in the newly developed Pearl District of Rosemont, making it the closest hotel property to O’Hare International Airport. The establishment is within walking distance from some of the area’s most popular entertainment destinations like the Impact Field, Fashion Outlets of Chicago, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and the Rosemont Theatre.

“Provocative. Energetic. Edgy. Just like the flower, our bold rooms are beautiful, and like the thorns, our team is sharp. We inspire you as you pass through our doors with a visually stimulating, art-themed experience. The Rose blooms in the heart of The Pearl District. We are Rosemont’s first boutique hotel,” says Gary Janko, founder and CEO of Janko Group.

With 6,000 square feet of high technology meeting space, including pre-function areas, an intimate outdoor patio, and eight dynamic, ultra-modern meeting venues, The Rose Hotel is suitable for business or leisure. Named after a different species of rose, each venue varies from small breakout meeting areas to two 150-seat grand ballrooms.

With its unique design, accessible location and plethora of desirable and useful features for meetings and events, it’s no wonder The Rose Hotel Chicago O'Hare is being recognized with the 2018 Hilton Legacy Award.

“The Rose Hotel is the first Tapestry Collection hotel to be built from the ground up. Our ownership team found dedicated builders and designers to bring a truly unique property to life," says Janko. "We filled the hotel with an equally dedicated staff. For our team members and [I], we have been here since day one – this recognition rewards all of our hard work!”

Like every other property in the Tapestry Collection, The Rose Hotel maintains an independent spirit. However, most Tapestry Collection Hotels are existing, historic, independent properties that were improved upon by joining the Hilton family. The Rose Hotel was built from the ground up and is dedicated to being different.

“The Legacy Awards recognize the passion, creativity and innovative spirit of Hilton’s partners, who are committed to quality projects that meet or exceed brand standards and have a positive impact on communities around the world. The leadership of Hilton’s development and brand teams select the winners based on strict criteria including, but not limited to, hotel quality and commitment to guest experience,” says Janko.

The spirited professionalism of The Rose Hotel Chicago O'Hare is apparent, and receiving the Legacy Award validates the hotel’s devoted team of staff. “When a guest is looking for an experience that is uncommon and unique, The Rose Hotel is the right choice. We are more than an airport hotel. Our food and beverage offerings, as well as our experienced team members set us apart from the rest of the hotels in Rosemont. Our art inspired lobby is the perfect stage for that “Instagrammable” moment our guests are looking for,” Janko says.

On Monday, Nov. 4, Zen Box Izakaya and Lowry Hill Meats are partnering for a Butcher x Ramen Popup from 5-9 p.m. at Lowry Hill Meats. Featuring Japanese comfort food like barnyard ramen and fiery bird ramen, as well as fine cuts of meat like smoked pork brisket and smoked chicken leg, the Butcher x Ramen Popup will offer the best of these Minneapolis food scene icons.

A highly acclaimed gem in the Chicago hotel scene, the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel is inviting guests to elevate their stay with the introduction of its new Best of Chicago Package.
