Piazza della Famiglia, a new outdoor event venue, joins San Diego’s Little Italy with a grand 10,000-square-foot European-style piazza. The Italian-inspired venue spans one city block and is sure to charm with its views of the San Diego Bay and 25-foot tiled fountain with up-lighting.

The new venue flaunts 7,400 square feet of event space, a three-tiered fountain with programmable flights, programmable overhead festoon lights, overhead mono speaker system, semi-private restrooms and complimentary Wi-Fi. At the property’s west end, a closed pedestrian corridor opens up to Little Italy’s iconic main street while its east end is illuminated by the 25-foot-by-25-foot fountain.

“The Piazza della Famiglia is the picture-perfect setting for any occasion whether it’s a small gathering or an elaborate evening extravaganza. There are not many outdoor venues available in Downtown San Diego and this space adds value to the City with its amazing ambiance that it provides guests,” says Curt Brooker, director of Little Italy Events.

Piazza della Famiglia’s location allows for many unique dining options. Restaurants available for events include the Little Italy Food Hall, a social dining concept; Cupcake Wars winner Audrey Hermes’ Frost Me Cafe; Farmer’s Table; and Morning Glory, a new brunch destination. The venue holds an alcoholic beverage license and allows for custom catering. The experienced Little Italy venues team will facilitate bookings with Piazza della Famiglia.
