Just in time for its 10-year anniversary, the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills has unveiled a reimagined look that includes a complete redesign of all 234 guest rooms and 63 suites, as well as new group offerings. Small groups can enjoy an exclusive and customizable hotel-within-the-hotel experience that centers around the new updated private terrace. The 11-room, two-floor configuration can accommodate small receptions, cocktail functions, activations and gifting suites with potential for integrated branding throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Groups have access to four terrace rooms, including two spacious Storyseeker Suites for seamless indoor/outdoor flow. Overlooking the private terrace are three balcony suites, two additional Storyseeker Suites and two premier rooms, each suitable for VIP guest rooms or space for additional activations.

For larger groups, the hotel offers full buyout options and more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space, including the grand Albert Ballroom and Foyer, versatile Garden Room and Terrace, rooftop Altitude pool deck and the culinary wonderland that is The Bazaar by José Andrés.

New group activities include “paella on the terrace”—a private event on The Bazaar’s airy Bar Blanca terrace featuring a bar specializing in Spanish cocktails, modern and traditional Spanish tapas, selection of freshly made paella and A/V capabilities for presentations, acoustic musical performances and DJ integration.

“Destination Discoveries” is a guided tour of the adjacent West 3rd Street neighborhood with its quintessential LA shops, galleries, cafes and boutiques and opportunities to interact with local artists and artisans.

“Bazaar Cocktail Flight” is a collaborative introduction to the magic behind The Bazaar’s signature mixology program. Guests will try their hand at a centuries-old recipe by Ben Franklin, the modern technique of infusing liquid nitrogen and the art of mixing the ultimate gin and tonic.

On June 21, the MPI Southern California Chapter marked its 40th anniversary as members gathered for their annual installation gala at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. After a welcome reception in the Wetherly Garden, where cocktails were hosted by Mulholland Distilling and sparkling wine by South Coast Winery, guests moved into the ballroom for the awards program and dinner and the swearing in of the 2018-19 Board of Directors. The evening concluded with a lavish dessert reception in the Orchid Room.
