Food trucks have taken the industry by storm. Long gone are the days of dirty water hot dogs; today’s food trucks are moveable feasts. Case in point? The Taco Truck. What began as a truck patrolling the streets of Hoboken and Jersey City has expanded into a miniempire, with a truck, cart, pop-up and restaurants (Hoboken, Morristown and Princeton are the three locations in New Jersey).
The Taco Truck offers a number of catering options. For larger events, choose from the popup or taco cart, both fully staffed with a delicious selection of Mexican food, or rent the full truck. “We pull up to your event or meeting. It’s easy for your guests, and easy for you, as the setup and cleanup is self-contained within the truck,” says Jason Scott, CEO and co-founder. Smaller party options include a build-your-own taco or nacho bar, torta or burrito boxes and individual boxed lunches.
“The Taco Truck was started with the passion of spreading authentic Mexican street food throughout the Northeast. Our menu is unique and authentic and every part of the business—our truck, pop-up, cart, catering services, brick and mortar locations—stays true to that authenticity,” says Scott.
