AAA wrapped up their undercover inspections of hotels and restaurants through North America. They then rated them on a scale of One to Five Diamonds, they have just announced the highest-rated properties.

“AAA Diamonds are the most reliable and respected ratings in the industry,” says Joseph J Richardson Jr., President and CEO, AAA – the Auto Club Group. “Travelers can depend on Diamond Ratings, because AAA personally inspects more properties than any other professional rating system in North America and is the only one that uses full-time, professionally trained evaluators to inspect properties on an annual basis.”

Wisconsin’s only Five Diamond property is The American Club, which has maintained that accreditation for 30 years. The luxury resort has extensive grounds, meetings facilities and multiple dining and shopping options.

The following Wisconsin hotels and restaurants earned the AAA/CAA Four Diamond Rating:

  • The Charmant Hotel
  • The Iron Horse Hotel
  • The Osthoff Resort
  • The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa
  • The Hilton Milwaukee City Center
  • The Milwaukee Marriott Downtown
  • The Pfister Hotel
  • The Edgewater
  • L’Etoile
