Walla Walla’s iconic Abeja Winery and Inn will be accepting wedding and event bookings for the first time in 2019. The venue offers five distinct indoor and outdoor venues and can accommodate groups of up to 250 guests.
Once a century-old farmstead, the 38-acre property’s original outbuildings have been meticulously restored to create a unique mix of event space and guest accommodations that combine rustic country charm with modern amenities. Estate vineyards, expansive lawns, fragrant gardens and a meandering creek complete the beauty of the site and add to the privacy of the landscape.
For groups entertaining up to 40 guests, Abeja’s in-house culinary team designs and prepares fresh, seasonal menus using local ingredients, featuring Abeja’s sought-after wines. Unique specialty cocktails and full bar service can also be arranged. For groups hosting more than 40, Abeja’s hospitality team assists guests with catering by a preferred list of vendors. To ensure the Abeja wines complete the day’s festivities, winemakers Dan Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler provide personal consultation and wine pairing recommendations.
A limited number of dates are available for weddings and events, including an option for full buy-outs of the property with lodging at The Inn at Abeja’s private cottages, rooms and suites.
