• AC Hotel Bloomington Mall of America Soon to Join South Loop

AC Hotels by Marriott will open their second Minnesota property in Bloomington at Mall of America in  mid-February 2017. 

The five-story AC Hotel Bloomington Mall of America—owned and operated by Terratron Inc. —has a modern vibe with Spanish roots and a European spirit. It includes 148 guest rooms and more than 730 square feet of meeting space. Guests can make use of the signature AC Lounge and Bar, Library, and Market, collaborative media salons, boardroom and a 24/7 fitness center. The hotel proudly reflects the local soul of Bloomington and is conveniently nestled between the Mall of America and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

AC Hotel Bloomington Mall of America will feature a variety of local brands, products and art, including a historic sculpture from Austrian artist Herbert Bayer and original paintings by local artist Patrick Pryor. The property is part of a multipurpose development that includes covered parking, adjacent full service restaurant, additional retail and a public plaza. 

The hotel is AC Hotels by Marriott’s 12th property in North America (fifth in the Midwest) following the brand’s debut in New Orleans, Kansas City and Washington D.C. It boasts as a facet of a growing portfolio of nearly 100 hotels expected to open in the next few years globally.

The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre completed its $24 million renovation of the entire hotel and conference center. Renovations began in 2020. 

The North Dallas conference center hotel renovation includes a full redesign of all 503 guest rooms, lobby and public areas, and food and beverage outlets. Additionally, the hotel’s 55,000-square-feet of meeting space was updated with new furnishings, technology upgrades, and the addition of a new 6,600-square-foot Lakeside Ballroom. 

 

The Global Business Travel Association and Uber for Business teamed up to conduct ground transportation research and and shared the results in a report titled The Corporate Travel Comeback: The Evolution of Ground Transportation and Other Trending Business Travel Topics.
