Mahaffey Fabric Structures Purchase $24.2 Million from Classic Party Rentals

Mahaffey Fabric Structures has bought more than $24.2 million from Classic Party Rentals, including structure frames, tents, fabric pieces, and specialty structures. This purchase allows Mahaffey, already the leading provider of temporary turnkey structures and shelter solutions in the U.S., to expand their network of products and personnel in order to provide for corporate events, sporting events, festivals large-scale activations, film productions, and other special events nationwide.

PRO EM Party & Event Rentals Acquires Universal Resource Supply, LLC and SoCal Tent & Events

PRO EM Party & Event Rentals has recently acquired University Resource Supply, LLC and SoCal Tents & Events. This is the second acquisition in 45 days, having acquired Partytime-HDO Productions in May. These acquisitions follow PRO EM's recapitalization by Dos Rios Partners in October 2016. After the recapitalization, PRO EM decided it wanted to acquire entities from other markets like URS and Partytime-HDO Productions, in order to expand its menu of services, product inventory and to offsest seasonality.

ALH Expands Current Portfolio

Associated Luxury Hotels has expanded its global footprint, collection of member hotels and resorts, sales, marketing and hospitality service with the acquisition of Frankfurt, Germany-based Worldhotels. By adding World hotels, it grows  its current portfolio of Global Sales Organization and hospitality services. ALH already owns and operates Associated Luxury Hotels International, making the Worldhotels acquistion a real coup.

World of Video & Audio Acquires The Lighter Side

World of Video & Audio, an event technology company based in Southern California, has acquired The Lighter Side, a lighting company founded in 2005. WOVA serves a range of clients, including Ferrari, FOX, Lionsgate, Netflix, Snapchat, Universal Pictures and others.

Cannon River Winery Has New Owner

Minnesota-based winery and event venue, Cannon River Winery, has announced its acquisition by entrepreneur, Ron Stowell; co-founders, John and Maureen Maloney will be minority owners of the company.
