• Aventri Launches New Event Planning Portal

    POSTED April 30, 2019

Aventri, event and meeting management technology company, officially launched Aventri Marketplace, a one-stop shop for events, on April 23. This new portal allows customers to quickly access premium service and technology providers for events. Aventri Marketplace partners cover everything from event promotion and budget management to staffing, transportation, payment processing and more.

One of Aventri Marketplace's partners is Uber for Business, which makes Aventri the first event management software provider to partner with Uber for Business. This partnership allows customers to use Uber vouchers, making transportation more convenient and less time consuming.

"Planners today are expected to be event strategists, plugged into all the best resources. At the same time, they’re stretched thin. Bombarded with requests for new and different services, they no longer have time to carefully evaluate every option," says Brad Langley, vice president of channel and partner management for Aventri. "Aventri Marketplace makes planners’ lives easier by providing quick access to the providers they need as they build out their events. The aim is to present top-notch providers that enhance every corner of event planning and management."

Langley says all Marketplace partners must qualify by having made a significant impact in one of five areas: marketing, operations, onsite experience, attendee analytics or payment solutions. Additionally, all partners must be compliant with Aventri's client data security and GDPR regulations.

"As a trusted tech provider, Aventri is always asked for recommendations on event service and technology providers. Instead of giving one-off suggestions, we thought it would be useful to make our recommendations readily available to all our clients," Langley says.

Aventri Marketplace is ideal for anyone who plans or manages events, Langley says. This includes corporate, association, third-party and occasional planners, he adds. This portal can help event planners find the resources they need for any meeting--small, large and anything in between.

"Aventri Marketplace is in tune with the way people shop today. When consumers make purchases online, they have product information at their fingertips and tools like rating scales to help them make smart choices," Langley says. "Aventri Marketplace is designed to bring the ease and assurance of consumer shopping to the event space."
