• Benchmark Promotes Eric Gavin to Chief Officer of Sales

Global hospitality company Benchmark has promoted Eric Gavin to chief officer of sales. Gavin’s previous position was senior vice president of sales & marketing.

Gavin’s new role will entail oversight and direction of Benchmark’s systemwide revenue management department, as well as the company’s global sales strategy and performance functions.

Gavin previously held the position of regional vice president sales and marketing for Benchmark, leading the teams of sales professionals and sales operations for resorts and hotels throughout Florida, California, Tennessee and the Caribbean. He has also previously served as vice president of marketing for Noble House Hotels & Resorts. Gavin attended the University of South Carolina - Aiken.

Holiday Inn Boston-Bunker Hill, along with Distinctive Hospitality Group (DHG), has announced its new executive chef is Edward Tremblay. Tremblay will oversee, train and develop the hotel's culinary team and provide menu guidance for social and corportate events.


CultureMap has named Patrick Hildebrandt, executive chef of Texican Court, a finalist for "Rising Star Chef of the Year" award. Winners will be announced at the 2019 CultureMap Tastemaker Awards celebration on April 25 at Fashion Industry Gallery in Dallas. The "Rising Star" award honors emerging chefs including those working the line, running a kitchen or opening their own restaurant.


Cherry Creek hotel, Halcyon, has announced Jason Delcamp its new general manager. Delcamp will be responsible for all operations, performance and strategic direction of the 154-room hotel as it begins a new chapter with hotel operator Makeready.
