1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role as General Manager?

Omni Hotels & Resorts Launches ‘Omni Originals’

Omni Hotels & Resorts have launched a new culinary and cocktail program called “Omni Originals.” Participating properties will serve themed food and beverages every quarter that show the brand’s regional talent and keeps up with ever-changing trends.

The first promotion, “Sensational Soups,” will last the entire month of February and showcase the variety of regionally-inspired homemade soups. Omni guests at participating hotels will get a complimentary taste of the featured soup.

Fontainebleau Gym Excels with New Line of Technogym Equipment

Wellness and fitness company Technogym has partnered with Fontainebleau Miami Beach to introduce its new line of fitness equipment at the 5,800-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness facility. Equipment from the brand’s newest EXCITE Line is now featured at Fontainebleau, including the Unity Self Artis and the ground-breaking SKILLMILL. 

Irvine Marriott Introduces Multimillion M Club Redesign

The Irvine Marriott has opened its new M Club Lounge, a semi-private space for Premier and Gold Club Members that offers guests complimentary food and beverages, free Wi-Fi and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Pinstack Announces Third North Texas Location

This fall, Allen, Texas, will have the third location of Pinstack—a 46,000-square-foot venue that will have 26 bowling lanes with lane-side food and beverage service.

The new location will offer a two-level laser tag arena, a rock-climbing wall and high-ropes court suspended 20 feet above hundreds of video games and simulators. There also will be a full-service restaurant and bar with a private dining area. The venue will have space for more than 1,400 people.

The First Tru by Hilton Set For Madison

Hilton Worldwide and North Central Group have partnered in a developmental deal to build Tru by Hilton brand hotel in Madison, Wisc. The 106-room, four-story hotel will be located next to two hotels managed by NCG.

“Today’s announcement marks an exciting chapter in the Tru by Hilton brand, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it,” says Jeff Lenz, president and chief development officer, NCG. “We’re eager to get started on bringing this innovative concept to life and new Hilton brand to the west side of Madison.”

Hyatt’s lifestyle hotel brand added a new hotel in the heart of New York City: Hyatt Centric Times Square New York; the new hotel made its debut in late October. Previously the Hyatt Times Square New York the hotel features 147 rooms and is a part of a group of Hyatt Centric lifestyle hotels that revolve around authenticity, simplicity and curiosity.

Eden Resorts & Suites to Operate Independently

Effective Dec. 1, Eden Resorts & Suites will cease to operate as a Best Western Premier brand and operate independently. This will allow them to enhance the local experience without having to adhere to generic nationwide protocols.

The Lancaster, Pa.-based hotel announced this after completing a 10-year renovation that cost $50 million. The hotel features 300 rooms and suites, two award-winning restaurants, a cocktail lounge, indoor and outdoor pools, and an outdoor recreation complex and expanded fitness center.
