As remote work continues and small business owners shrink their office footprint, coworking spaces are an attractive alternative to working from a spare bedroom or paying for an office suite that is largely unused. For meeting planners in the Los Angeles area, there’s a new option in Pasadena. Premier Workspaces, the Irvine-based coworking operator, has opened a 16,700-square-foot coworking space on the sixth floor of a North Lake Avenue building.
The location is adjacent to the Lake Station metro stop on the Gold line, and the space features 74 private offices, meeting rooms, a common area, and an on-site hospitality team. Premier says it designed the shared workspace “to impress with open ceilings, contemporary funishinghings, and captivating views of the San Gabriel Mountains.” Clients can choose from private offices, shared offices, team spaces, serviced meeting rooms, and a virtual plan that includes a selection of services including high-speed internet, phone answering services, mail collection, and more. The property includes a courtyard and on-site EV car-charging stations. Rates start at $615 a month for a private office
“Part of the appeal of our company is that we provide such flexibility,” says Amy Fuller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Premier. “Traditional space requires a build-out, furniture, staffing, and a multi-year agreement. Premier offers all the benefits of traditional space—without the overhead—on a flexible term. Businesses can rent a small office for three months or they can stay for five years.”
