Mastro’s Ocean Club Opens in Downtown LA

Mastro’s Restaurants marks its ninth California location with the opening of Mastro’s Ocean Club in downtown Los Angeles, just steps away from L.A. Live and Crypto.com Arena (formerly the Staples Center). The 14,000-square-foot space features a main dining room with more than 7,000 wine bottles lining the walls, and an outdoor terrace for guests to enjoy alfresco dining. Mastro’s Ocean Club can seat up to 350 in the main dining room. Additionally, three private dining rooms for special events are offered for parties of 40 to 100 guests, and full restaurant buyouts are available.

“Californians know our brand and know the exceptional service they will receive in our restaurants,” says Mark Levy, Mastro’s president and COO. “We are thrilled to expand our footprint to downtown LA. Being seconds away from two of the city’s major event centers, we look forward to serving locals and travelers from around the world.”

Specializing in fresh seafood and steakhouse fare, the new restaurant’s high-end menu features a 2-foot-tall raw seafood tower, lobster mashed potatoes, Wagyu and Kobe beef, and a 33-ounce “chef’s cut” ribeye. Mastro’s also has a “strict upscale dress code” that does not allow athletic apparel, beachwear, or gym attire.
