Just south of downtown Reno, the Courtyard by Marriott Reno is owned and managed by Virginia’s Sandpiper Hospitality and boasts 117 guest rooms, 1,315 square feet of flexible function space, and now a comprehensive fitness space home to Technogym & TRX equipment, Peloton bikes, and more. The official opening reception for the UpLift Fitness Hub will take place on May 4 from 4-6 p.m., and hotel guests, business partners, and community members are invited to attend.
“We heard loud and clear from our guests that they desired to maintain their healthy lifestyle while traveling on the road,” says Pauline Brion, general manager of the property, in a prepared statement. “This was the catalyst for the commitment to a total transformation of our recreational space … UpLift is a game changer for us and our guests. It provides them with an incredible lifestyle experience.”
The space will feature treadmills, free weights, and plenty of stretching space; as well as impressive equipment like the TRX suspension machine and the Technogym Skill Mill, which uses bodyweight as opposed to mechanical assistance. Sean Cronan, who works in business development for Technogym, notes in a prepared statement that the brand looks forward to bringing its equipment to the Reno hotel. “Over the years, many of the world’s leading teams and athletes have chosen Technogym equipment to improve their performance, undertake injury prevention, and for rehabilitation purposes. We are excited for the Courtyard’s guests to bring out their athletic selves at UpLift.”
Additional on-site amenities for guests include free Wi-Fi, complimentary parking and electric vehicle charging, and dining at The Bistro.
