Across the state line in Nevada, Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment has some exciting updates for planners to note. For one, Caesars Palace in Paradise, Nevada, along the Las Vegas Strip, debuted the renovation of its Colosseum Presidential Villas and Octavius Sky Villas—ideal for intimate VIP receptions or executive board gatherings—earlier this year. These remodels join a slew of recent updates at the property, including the introduction of Flavian Sky Suites, Celebrity Food Hall, Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar, and the renovation of Qua Baths & Spa.
“For meeting professionals who are searching for venues that elevate the experience beyond the expected, our new Colosseum Presidential Villas and Octavius Sky Villas do exactly that,” says Michael Massari, chief sales officer at Caesars Entertainment, in a prepared statement. “These spaces were designed not just for luxury, but for connection—whether that’s through an executive board gathering on a private terrace overlooking the Strip or a VIP reception surrounded by world-class design. As we celebrate 60 years of Caesars Palace, we’re proud to offer planners an entirely new tier of memorable, high-impact environments that simply can’t be replicated anywhere else in Las Vegas.”

The two reimagined Colosseum Presidential Villas feature private elevators, floor-to-ceiling windows, custom chandeliers, an entertainment lounge with a bar and billiard table, a formal dining room with a 10-seat marble table, a courtyard lounge, and an outdoor terrace with panoramic views, among other amenities. Located on the 68th and 69th floors of the hotel’s Octavius Tower, the 29 renovated Octavius Sky Villas now present a contemporary design with clean architectural lines and a more refined color palette. Marble, metal, velvet, and stone accents were added, as well as a TV feature wall in the living rooms and ribbed glass panels within the bathrooms.
Over in the South Lake Tahoe area, Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is scheduled to open Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords this summer in partnership with Las Vegas-based Clique Hospitality—the addition comes as part of Phase 2 of the resort’s $200 million transformation that also will include enhancements to its High-Dive Pool and Lounge, an expansion of its meeting space by 25,000 square feet, and the debut of an all-new fitness center. Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords is a bar and lounge in the heart of the casino floor that will provide hotel guests and attendees with a creative cocktail program, an extensive beer and wine list, and live music.
“We conceptualized Tessie’s to capture the heartbeat of Tahoe, with great music, strong cocktails, and rock ’n’ roll energy from the moment you walk in,” says Andy Masi, founder of Clique Hospitality. “It’s a place for anyone ready to trade an ordinary night for something legendary.”
