Inns of Monterey, a collection of five boutique hotels along Monterey Bay, launched its new Adventure Package for guests looking to get outside and explore nature. The offering is available at four of the five properties, including Monterey Bay Inn, Spindrift Inn, Wave Street Inn, and Victorian Inn, and includes overnight accommodations for two along with two full-day vouchers for paddleboard rental, traditional bike rental (not e-bikes), or kayak rental through Adventures by the Sea. All four properties sit on or are steps from Cannery Row, and are within walking distance of each other, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and miles of coastline.
Whether you choose to explore by land or by water, guests may well glimpse the diverse wildlife that live in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, a protected area stretching along the central California coast from San Francisco to Cambria. See seals, sea lions, sea otters, migrating whales, and dolphins in their natural habitat.
“Inns of Monterey makes it easy to experience Monterey’s Marine Sanctuary,” says Sue Dreyer, director of marketing for Inns of Monterey. “Whether they are walking, peddling, or paddling, guests will see a variety of marine life, flowers, and breathtaking views, all within steps of their hotel.”
While the Adventure Package is not available at Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa, the fifth property of Inns of Monterey, the bikes from Adventure by the Sea will be available at that property for complimentary use beginning June 1.
