Silverado Resort, a landmark property in the heart of Napa Valley wine country, wrapped up a $1.5 million renovation to its 17,000 square feet of event space spanning the ballroom, conference space, meeting rooms, and pre-function areas. The upgrades are part of a larger $14 million investment project that began in 2022. In total, Silverado Resort features 70,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space and 345 hotel rooms and suites.
“Our innovative design elements not only modernized our meeting spaces, but they also incorporated elements that reflect the unique charm and character of Napa Valley,” says Gabriela Rojo, director of sales for the resort. “Silverado Resort’s meeting spaces will bolster events by providing an exceptionally modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for all attendees.”
The transformation was helmed by SFA Design, which has offices in both California and New York, and heavily inspired by Napa Valley’s stunning landscape of rolling hills, soft earth tones, and rows of grape vines. The reimagined Silverado Ballroom features 5,160 square feet of space to accommodate up to 400 attendees, with plush Axminster carpeting in an eye-catching feather pattern balanced by crystal chandeliers.
“Our amenities are abundant with a multitude of recreational offerings, including two championship golf courses, nine tennis courts, and my personal favorite, a lavish spa boasting over 14 treatment rooms,” Rojo adds. “A crowd favorite is dining in our Grove venue. The Grove is nestled amid the resort’s lush landscape, surrounded by towering oak trees and manicured lawns.” The elegant outdoor space is available for a variety of special events, receptions, and corporate meetings.
The rest of the meeting spaces also received upgraded carpeting, fresh paintwork, contemporary lighting, local artworks and photography, and bronze finishings. “With new paint, wallpaper, art, carpeting, lighting, and furnishings, our meetings and event spaces have been completely transformed with a warm yet fresh and modern design,” says Todd Shallan, vice president and managing director of Silverado Resort, in a prepared statement. “The overall look is one of graceful elegance—a seamless fusion of bold colors, distinctive lighting, tactile textures, and natural materials conveying a contemporary Napa story.”
