Paséa Hotel & Spa, a 250-room oasis in Southern California’s Huntington Beach located steps from the shoreline, just wrapped up and unveiled a $5 million renovation to its food and beverage program in early May. The project included a complete refresh of its existing rooftop lounge, rebranded to Treehouse on PCH; and the introduction of its new culinary outlet, Lōrea, serving California coastal-inspired fare.
“Beyond a land-to-sea-driven menu abundant with premier beef cuts and vegan specialties, Lōrea’s ocean views are complemented with immersive tableside experiences, from the Parker House rolls paired with melting edible candle of Turkish chili-lime butter to the decadent pavlova presented with a dry-ice ‘smoke,’” describes Paul Maddison, regional general manager of the hotel. “While Treehouse on PCH maintained its iconic life-size tree sculpture that envelopes the bar, the latest design changes maximize views of the Pacific Ocean,” he continues. “Our resort mixologist concocted a refreshing lineup of new specialty cocktails, like the already-beloved Pink Flamingo, as well as zero-proof mocktails for the sober-curious.” The Treehouse on PCH rooftop lounge is available for a range of gatherings from intimate private dining experiences to full buyouts for larger events.
In addition to these delectable dining destinations for eventgoers staying or meeting at the property to enjoy, Paséa offers its iconic Ninth Island Pool, perched right along the beach and home to a bar as well as luxury cabanas available to reserve. Attendees will also find the Aarna Spa, a 5,800-square-foot space with eight treatment rooms and a private outdoor spa garden with fire pits and more cabanas. Planners can look at adding any number of relaxing regimens to the itinerary, from the Aarna’s Ocean Devotion and Sea Stone Massage to the Restore & Repair Facial and Revitalizing Salt Scrub Body Treatment.
“We have 34,600 square feet of award-winning event space, including the 14,600-square-foot outdoor, panoramic Ocean Lawn & Terrace,” Maddison adds. “Catering features customizable, coastal-inspired menus and specialty cocktails from the hotel’s chefs and mixologists. We can also arrange a variety of immersive breakout sessions, from surf lessons to sound bath meditation and puppy therapy.” The hotel is also in proximity to Pacific City and its several restaurants and shops for attendees to explore during their free time.
“There is a little something for everyone,” says Maddison. “From beach access and poolside hangouts to immersive dining experiences and bespoke cocktails from the hotel’s mixologists, as well as award-winning spa treatments at Aarna Spa and surprise-and-delight moments for guests.”
