The Westin Los Angeles Airport (LAX) hotel, located right next to LAX in the Westchester neighborhood, is wrapping up a major $45 million-plus renovation focused on the lobby and lounge area. The new design of the two spaces emphasizes a connection to nature by including water features, native Southern Californian plant life, and organic materials.
The project also features 56,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including a 13,000-square-foot ballroom featuring 18-foot-tall ceilings and natural lighting. The hotel offers an on-site executive meeting specialist to work with planners on every step of the planning process. Also new this year is a Topgolf Swing Suite where the golf lovers in your group can tee up and network. Transportation is easy with the hotel’s 24-hour airport shuttle service to and from LAX.
To add to the list, The Westin LAX will be launching a dedicated surf concierge this month to take hotel guests on a guided California surfing experience—all skill levels are welcome. Visitors will learn about navigating the best beaches, tide patterns, and breaks. This offering goes along with the hotel’s on-site running concierge that supplies guests with local running guides to accompany them on unique routes near the property.
And what’s more, a new sunset finder will be available at the hotel later this month—a list curated by locals for hotel guests and event attendees to find the best sunset views nearby. Eventgoers will have no shortage of activities organized by the hotel to fill time between busy meetings.
