While most notably known for being the home of Disneyland Park and the largest convention center on the West Coast, Anaheim is thriving with memorable activities and venues visitors won’t find elsewhere. “Visit Anaheim’s ‘Here We Go’ campaign invites travelers for both leisure and meetings and conventions to let Anaheim wake up the imagination and celebrate the unique offerings that can only be experienced in our destination,” says Sue O’Shea, senior director of marketing for Visit Anaheim. “We welcome planners to immerse their attendees in extraordinary experiences that can only be created in Anaheim and Orange County, California.”
The primary goal of the new campaign is to continue encouraging travel to the city and demonstrate how Anaheim has evolved since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the meetings and events industry particularly hard. With tag lines like “Here We Meet, Here We Collaborate, Here We Amaze, and Here We Go,” the campaign works to offer a sense of inclusion and warm welcome for all visitors both leisure and corporate upon arrival. “The new ‘Here We Go’ promotional video captures Anaheim’s animated spirit and showcases the wide range of experiences Anaheim has to offer,” O’Shea adds. “From gravity noodles at the Anaheim Packing House to the mascot of the [NHL’s] Anaheim Ducks, nearly 20 of Visit Anaheim’s partners are featured showcasing the diversity of our destination.”
For business eventgoers, Anaheim thrives with an abundance of activities for team building or post-meeting. Experience the FlightDeck aviation simulator at the Anaheim GardenWalk, or the floating Newport Beach Tiki boats in neighboring Newport Beach. Planners will appreciate notable venues including the Anaheim Packing House, a historic and restored Sunkist orange packing facility available to host small team dinners. For large-scale conventions, gather at the Anaheim Convention Center, which boasts more than 1 million square feet of flexible event space. The RANCH Restaurant & Saloon offers several private dining rooms alongside an events center and wine cellar.
