Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has named Amber Voelker the regional director of sales for ALHI’s West Region. Voelker is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists, and business executives in the West U.S. with ALHI Global Sales Organization (GSO) services and professional sales support for its distinctive portfolio of more than 170 four- and five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide. She is based in ALHI’s Global Sales office in Los Angeles, California, and reports to Chris Riccardi, ALHI division vice president.
“Our team has had the privilege of working with Amber for the past six years during her tenure at The Langham Huntington, and know first-hand what an outstanding job she does, with tremendous dedication, talent and great sales and leadership skills,” said Jim Schultenover, president of ALHI. “She will be a valuable advocate and asset for ALHI clients in the region, and for our worldwide portfolio of Member hotels and resorts.
Voelker comes to ALHI from The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, California, a long-time ALHI Member hotel, where she served for 12 years including the past four years as the director of group sales. Prior to that, she was senior group sales manager, and served for five years in sales for The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa before it was converted to The Langham Huntington. Previous to that she was the director of sales for the Hollywood Hotel. She is a graduate of California State University-Northridge, and an active member of the MPI Southern California Chapter.
