FIG & OLIVE appointed Leah Neumann, who has been with the restaurant chain since 2010, as the delivery and catering manager for its California locations. In her new role she will oversee sit-down lunches, full service cocktail receptions and private parties, and work with the director of sales, Samantha Hart, to expand the chain’s off-site catering capabilities.
Neumann began her work with FIG & OLIVE as a floor manager, and then general manager, at the Midtown Manhattan location in New York. In 2011 she transitioned to the catering department, where she worked to make the restaurant the official caterer for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas and Frederic Fekkai Fifth Avenue beauty salons. For the past three years she has worked closely with New York’ fashion houses, spas, salons, law firms and private equity firms to produce a variety of events.
“I learned a great deal launching the catering and delivery departments for FIG & OLIVE in New York City,” says Neumann. “I am seeking to develop both departments here in Los Angeles as well as Newport Beach, building new relationships with local brands and businesses.”
FIG & OLIVE has locations in California, New York, Chicago, and soon – Washington D.C. Its catering department covers a wide variety of events from wedding and philanthropic galas to entertainment events like the Golden Globe and pre-Emmy’s parties, and offers customized and individualized experiences.
