The newly-acquired Loews Regency San Fransisco has announced two executive appointments: Austin Phillips as director of sales & marketing, and Amol Agarwal as executive chef & director of food and beverage. Phillips and Agarwal have years of experience in their areas of expertise and share a passion to provide spectacular hospitality to guests staying in the City by the Bay.
Phillips has more than a decade of hotel industry experience preceding his appointment as director of sales & marketing, including sales and marketing positions at Stanford Court San Francisco, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Parc 55 Wyndham Hotel, Greystone Hotels, Hotel Griffon, and Hotel Adagio. Phillips first entered the hotel industry in 2002 as director of sales at Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort in Lake Placid, New York.
As executive chef, Agarwal is responsible for overseeing every aspect of food and beverage at Loews Regency San Francisco. Agarwal’s background boasts experience as executive chef at The Ritz-Carton Hotel, South Beach; JW Marriott Camelback Inn, Scottsdale; and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Beijing and as well as positions as executive sous chef at Langham Huntington Hotel, Pasadena and The Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, Jamaica.
