Jim Gerney has just been announced as the new General Manager of Toll House in Los Gatos. Joining the MetWest Terra management team, Gerney’s new responsibilities will include managing the entire food, beverage, meetings and rooms operations of the hotel.
Gerney has gained 26 years of hospitality experience after beginning his career with the Interstate Hotels Corporations. During Gerney’s 14-year term, the company grew from 28 hotels to 230 in 11 years. “Jim brings with him an extensive background in hospitality management,” said Jamie Yarrow, President and COO, MetWest Terra Hospitality. “His depth of experience, passion for hospitality and dedication to superior guest services makes him an extremely valuable addition to our team.”
Additionally Gerney has served as the General Manager for the Canterbury Hotel and Joie de Vivre’s Maxwell Hotel, as well as Managing Director of Hotel Kabuki. Most recently, Gerney was the Regional General Manager for Larkspur Hotels for their San Francisco Collection.
