Marina del Rey Hotel has reopened, following a $25 million renovation. It also recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. The property features 164 remodeled rooms, a restaurant, room service, concierge assistance, pool and sundeck, wedding venue and meeting spaces, among other amenities.
“We are proud to re-open the doors of this hotel that has served as a destination in the Marina for more than half a century,” said Matt Marquis, president of Pacifica Hotels. “We’ve put a great deal of thought and resources into the Marina del Rey Hotel to make it the preeminent hotel choice in Los Angeles. We’ve made significant investments in the Marina across several hotels, and know this will only serve to elevate the area’s hospitality landscape.”
Featuring 9,700 total square feet of event space, the hotel is available to host various events and can hold up to 350 guests. The 9,700 total square feet include SALT, the hotel’s on-the-water, indoor/outdoor restaurant, a waterfront private dining room that holds up to 12 people, and a new waterfront lawn that accounts for 3,500 square feet of gathering space and provides panoramic views of the Marina.
Over the past 50 years, the Marina del Rey Hotel has served as a meeting point for yacht clubs, fashion shows and other functions.
