Petco Park Events, the special events arm of MLB’s San Diego Padres, partnered with developer IQHQ to open Eve in early June. The venue is atop the Edge building in IQHQ’s Research and Development District on the San Diego Bay and is the third property in the organization’s portfolio alongside Petco Park and The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park. Attendees will find stunning views of the bay and iconic San Diego landmarks including the USS Midway and the “Unconditional Surrender” sailor statue.

Eve offers 7,800 square feet of indoor meeting space and can accommodate groups of up to 570 seated or 1,126 standing with 19-foot ceilings and retractable walls. Alongside the primary event venue, Eve also features two smaller, more private salon rooms that work best for 10 to 12 people; a furnished terrace overlooking the bay; and a green room for staging needs. Planners can take advantage of its on-site catering service through Culinary Concepts, with Snake Oil Co. managing beverages and offering curated cocktails and custom drinks upon request.

“Petco Park Events is thrilled to join forces with IQHQ to bring clients from all over to San Diego’s newest premier event venue,” says Jaclyn Lash, senior vice president of special events for the Padres, in a prepared statement. “We have a long history of hosting various events of all sizes at Petco Park, and we look forward to bringing that same world-class event experience to Eve while showcasing what our beautiful city has to offer.”
