Viceroy Hotel Group Appointed New Food & Beverage Directors

Viceroy Hotel Group made new appointments for director of food & beverages at two of their hotels – Arron Gwinnett for Viceroy Anguilla and Xavier F. Echevarria for Le Meridien Delfina in Santa Monica, CA.

 

Arron Gwinnett has a wide variety of international hospitality experience to aid him in this key role. He will oversee the operations for five restaurants/bars, room service, and meeting and catering events at Viceroy Anguilla.  The 166-room resort features a variety of palate-pleasing restaurants including: Coba, Aleta, Bamboo, Half Shell and the Sunset Lounge.

 

Born and raised in the hospitality industry, Gwinnett comes to Viceroy Anguilla from other leading resorts in food & beverage management positions including Hilton (China), Raffles Hotels & Resorts (China), Conrad Pezula (South Africa), InterContinental Hotels Group Director F&B (India) & (Abu Dhabi).  His expertise includes food and beverage, service etiquette, cost controls, revenue management and guest engagement.

 

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Xavier F. Echevarria’s expertise in hospitality management will assist him as he oversees all culinary efforts and partnerships for Le Meridien Delfina in Santa Monica, California. Working closely with Chef Russell Wooten, executive chef of Longitude,

 

Echevarria will introduce new dining concepts and social events to ensure that all hotel guests experience a unique experience reflecting the hotel’s luxury standards. 

 

Echevarria joins Le Meridien Delfina from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Group where he had multiple positions in locations including Atlanta, St. Thomas, Sarasota, Naples and Tampa. Previously nominated for “Leader of the Quarter,” Echevarria was able to move the Food and Beverage ranking from the 10th best to the third best operation in the Ritz-Carlton brand.
