Viceroy Santa Monica luxury hotel launched a new bike concierge program offering guests free use of its bicycle fleet. The fleet is provided by Priority Bicycles, a former Kickstarter, which specializes in low-maintenance recreational bicycles.
“With an average of 310 days of sunshine in Santa Monica per year, the bikes are very popular. Priority’s products are made to stand up to the consistent outings without being affected by the salty air and sandy environment,” said Spencer Yeo, Viceroy Santa Monica’s general manager.
The guests can chose curated or customized routes based on individual preference. The guests will also receive a discount on direct purchases made through Priority Bicycles’ website.
The bicycles’ features include a rust-free aluminum frame, coaster brakes and a three-speed grip, adjustable for the terrain.
Viceroy Santa Monica is located on Ocean Avenue, with easy access to shopping and dining, and the Strand bike path running along 22-miles of beaches.
