Hayes Mansion by Curio
The Hayes Mansion San Jose unveiled its refreshed look and joined the Curio Collection by Hilton in August 2022. The $20 million renovation includes 214 revamped guest rooms and suites, 33,000 square feet of upgraded event space, and a reimagined lobby. Originally constructed in 1905, Hayes Mansion sits on 6 acres adjacent to a 20-acre park and is only minutes from downtown San Jose.
“We look forward to welcoming back our esteemed guests and organizations who have made Hayes a premier and unique historic destination,” says Jeff Carpenter, general manager of Hayes Mansion San Jose. “The hotel has been reimagined and transports visitors back to the rich history of the Hayes Mansion estate with a twist of modern flair and amenities desired by today’s guest.”
The property’s 33,000 square feet of event space is flexible and varied, ranging from the 6,600-square-foot Hayes Ballroom (capacity of 500) and the East Lawn (capacity of 1,500), to intimate parlors, patios, and conservatories. Palm & Ember, a new restaurant, includes a 150-person dining room that flows out to a scenic 40-person outdoor terrace and garden area.
