Choice Hotels International will be expanding its Cambria Hotels brand to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with the opening of Cambria Hotel Milwaukee in August. The new property will incorporate design inspired by Milwaukee's culture and history as well as hyper-local craft beers.
The hotel will be Wisconsin's third Cambria location, joining Cambria hotels in Madison and Appleton, and it will offer visitors easy access to surrounding offices like Northwestern Mutual and Harley-Davidson, the Milwaukee Riverwalk, Discovery World and the U.S. Cellular Arena.
"Milwaukee, known for its tourism and recently ranked as one of the best places to start a business in the U.S., is an ideal location to grow the Cambria brand," says Mark Shalala, vice president of development of upscale brands, Choice Hotels International.
Cambria Hotel Milwaukee will boast 1,300 square feet of multi-function meeting space, a business center, state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, and an interior courtyard. Like all Cambria properties, the downtown Milwaukee location will incorporate thoughtful technology, including Bluetooth mirrors in the bathrooms.
The hotel includes 77 king rooms, 50 double queen rooms and five elegant suites each featuring wood floors, spa-style bathrooms, Beautyrest St. Pierre Plush Mattresses and televisions with Smart Television technology capabilities. Guests are invited to enjoy and indulge in the stylish lobby, complete with a fireplace. Those looking for a quick bite to eat can take advantage of the gourmet bar and restaurant, complete with some of Milwaukee’s classic cuisine, small bites, local craft beers and custom cocktails.
