Goal! The Fifth Annual Soccer & Style Fashion Show was a complete success when it was held on May 3, raising $20,000 to benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation, the soccer club’s charitable organization that’s committed to enhancing the lives of disadvantaged youth throughout the Chicagoland area. The event was held at ROOF on theWit and emceed by ABC 7’s meteorologist Cheryl Scott; it featured several players from the Chicago Fire (including new all-star signee Bastian Schweinsteiger) modeling the latest fashions from Banana Republic as fans and bloggers looked on. Here are some sights from the night.

The New York and New Jersey chapters of the National Association for Catering & Events (NACE), along with the Banquet Event Strategic Task Force (BEST Task Force), held an in-person gathering in August, their first since the start of the pandemic.

The Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) hosted its first inperson event since the pandemic began at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall. MSAE’s goal was to host a fun networking opportunity that followed COVID guidelines, and helped members gain confidence attending in-person events again.
