Convening Leaders 2020 is a global event that is sure to bring people together.

Set for this January in San Francisco, the Convening Leaders event is designed for business event strategists from both the buying and selling spheres. At the event, attendees will be encouraged to work together to find solutions, work to reach their goals, and engage in innovative, educational, and experimental activities.

While many associations who have previously attended the event share an emphasis on medical meetings and corporations, Convening Leaders is open to all those who share the same goals and values as those listed above. Additionally, the event will also be hosting Simon Sinek, who is a motivational speaker and author. With a variety of backgrounds at the event, a new Tech Talk Stage, and experiential areas to explore throughout, there will surely be something for everyone.

Prior to this event, the PCMA Foundation has conducted extensive research and studies with Marriott International regarding future trends in events, event experiences, and meeting room design, many of which will be showcased and presented at Convening Leaders.

PCMA is also taking note of the city in which their event is set: San Francisco. To truly partner and immerse themselves in the city, Convening Leaders will encourage attendees to explore the nearby districts, have an opening reception inspired by the SF Urban Hike, and collaborating with local talent on their main stage.

Convening Leaders is in January, meaning that when attendees arrive, they will most likely have just made their new year’s resolutions. This event is perfect for people who are up for learning, making new connections, and taking big steps to start their year off on the right foot.

This September, Los Angeles Airport Marriott is beginning the final stage of their $50-million renovations.

The redesign includes more than 50,000 square feet of meeting space alongside a maximum capacity of 2,500 people. The hotel will be set to host parties of any nature, including Corporate events, conventions, company retreats, holiday parties, banquets, exhibitions, workshops, and everything in between.

In 2018, the county welcomed 8.15 million visitors, an increase of 1.6 percent from 2017 and achieved a record-breaking $1.1 billion in total economic impact. With such numbers, the hospitality industry is taking full advantage.

As Bucks County tourist status rises, for the travelers who are searching for a local experience, Bucks County is filled with breweries, independent restaurants, and hidden gems to visit.
