Ann Alba Appointed Vice President and General Manager at The Broadmoor

The Broadmoor veteran will now oversee operations of the hotel and its Wilderness Experience portfolio

The Broadmoor longtime employee, Ann Alba, has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the historic Colorado Springs hotel resort. In her new role, Alba will oversee operations at the 106-year-old property, including its unique experiences such as The Broadmoor’s Wilderness Experience portfolio, featuring The Ranch at Emerald Valley, Cloud Camp, and the Orvis-endorsed Fly Fishing Camp.

Alba, who hails from Michigan, grew up in her family’s bar and restaurant business and has been a member of The Broadmoor hospitality team since 1987, when she began as a banquet server. She has worked her way through various roles, including restaurant server and trainer, lounge manager, operations assistant manager, and vice president and resident manager. Today, as vice president and general manager, she is second-in-command to The Broadmoor’s President and CEO Jack Damioli.

Alba serves as president of the Pikes Peak Lodging Association and is the recipient of the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association‘s Zenith Award, which pays tribute to her accomplishments and recognizes her as someone who symbolizes exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
