By Beth Buehler

Pickleball is taking the world by storm, and Chicken N Pickle is making it easy for business and social groups to take part in a laidback atmosphere. The indoor-outdoor entertainment complex concept launched in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2016, blending a casual, chef-driven restaurant, sports bar, pickleball courts, and a variety of yard games.

Since then, the company has added six more locations in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas and has eight locations under development. Chicken N Pickle is opening two Colorado locations next year in Parker and Thornton along with those in Allen and Webster, Texas; Henderson, Nevada; and Fishers, Indiana. Chicken N Pickle is set to launch this year in Glendale, Arizona, and St. Charles, Missouri.

The layout for the Colorado locations includes a main dining area that is spacious enough for corporate and social events, rooftop dining, bars, numerous indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, and a variety of lawn games such as cornhole, pingpong, battleship, and Jenga. All the play will make guests hungry. The menu focuses on dishes featuring antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken in the form of grilled dishes, sandwiches, salads and shareables as well as pork, beef, and vegetarian options and hand-cut fries and tater tots.
