Two Denver venues have gone big this holiday season, offering ready-to-go, pop-up solutions for gatherings that are sure to have attendees reminiscing long into the future.
Bezel Lodge
Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel created Bezel Lodge within its hip cocktail lounge, Bezel Denver. Adorned with chairlift and ski-themed decor indoors and equipped with firepits, furry blankets, and heat lamps on its patio along the 16th Street Mall, Bezel Lounge is providing a cozy après ski vibe without all the ski traffic from mid-November into the new year.
Bar Manager Ravin Buzzell concocted new cocktails for Bezel Lodge, including Clarified Peppermint Cocoa, Winter Spiced Old Fashioned, Mark’s Coquito, and Snow Sludge Tini. In addition, the kitchen team has unveiled new dishes: Steak Tartare with Quail Egg, Muesli Crostini with Butternut Squash Puree, Hard-Seared Mushrooms & Foie, and Bavarian Pretzel with Apple Mustardo.
The Queen’s Ball
Envision being cordially invited to one of the most elegant soirées of the season. The Brighton, a Non Plus Ultra venue in Denver’s River North Art District, is making it happen for lucky attendees through The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience, a turnkey option available for corporate buyouts from early November through Dec. 18.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in their finest and stroll through a wisteria-laden tunnel to a ballroom decked out for the occasion. Dressed in period attire, members of the British high society, including the queen, are on hand to greet guests and interact during the Regency-era event.
Non Plus Ultra activates vacant historic and architecturally significant landmarks as event venues. The Brighton, one of four Non Plus Ultra locations in Denver, has 30-foot ceilings and over 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space that can accommodate up to 5,000 guests.
