United announced the debut of its largest United Club in the world at Denver International Airport on Sept. 13. The new, 35,000-square-feet club is located on the B Concourse and is the second of two new locations to open at the airport this year, with the 24,000-square-foot United Club on the A Concourse launching in August.
Both are part of the carrier’s nearly $1 billion investment to further improve the customer experience in Denver. The club locations include enhanced amenities like free high-speed Wi-Fi, self-scan entry gates, agent-on-demand kiosks, wellness rooms, and culinary offerings with local flair like oatmeal paired with Colorado honey, egg frittata inspired by the Denver omelet, and pork green chili.
United’s debut of its largest club at Denver International Airport and the opening of the A Concourse club comes on the heels of unveiling a new club concept, United Club Fly, in Denver last November. Since opening, United Club Fly has been visited by more than 100,000 travelers seeking the convenience of quickly grabbing food and beverages on the way to flights.
The airline will open another club location in 2025, bringing the total to 100,000 square feet of United Club space at Denver International Airport. With more than two-thirds of United customers connecting to other places in Denver, the new clubs are expected to accommodate more than double the number of travelers than previously.
B Concourse Club Highlights
Located near gate B44, this three-level club has more than 600 seats and is inspired by Denver’s urban areas. There is concrete flooring, exposed ceilings, and locally sourced furnishings and artwork that reflects the local community. The entryway features a sculpture by Will Schlough that is crafted from dozens of skateboards and resembles colorful pinecones. The feature bar area has five Vestaboards displaying messages and menu items and a vibrant mural by Charlo Garcia Walterbach that explores the joy and discovery of new places while traveling.
The club also reflects Denver’s beer scene with brewery-inspired elements and a new beer tasting experience available at the mezzanine-level bar. Travelers can choose from a seasonal rotation of 10 craft beers on tap, with selections from Colorado breweries such as New Belgium Brewing, Great Divide Brewing Co., Denver Beer Company, and Upslope Brewing Company.
A Concourse Club Overview
Located on the western side near gate A26, savor the atmosphere of the Colorado Rocky Mountains in this two-story space that has 400 seats. Designed to feel like a ski lodge, there are two fireplace lounges, stacked wood, flannel-patterned cushions, and locally sourced furniture and decor. Travelers can enjoy two premium bars, play shuffleboard in the game lounge, or relax near the fireplaces.
Visual highlights include a sculptural installation by Colorado-based artist Amy Hoagland, who used glass rods to fashion a topographic-inspired piece that creates an optical illusion from various vantage points. Adam Vicarel’s “Come Fly With Us” uses a combination of colors and shapes to explore travel and the Colorado landscape.
