A Toast to Being Environmentally Kind

By M+E Staff

Colorado is delivering delicious beers and spirits to the world, and the businesses producing them are being kind to our planet in the process.

» Marble Distilling Co. in downtown Carbondale has partnered with global innovator Siemens to become the most sustainable zero-waste distillery around. Groups can host a gathering in the tasting room and on the patios, take part in a bottling party, and book the five luxury suites upstairs at Distillery Inn. There is also a tasting room in Aspen. marbledistilling.com

» The Colorado Farm Brewery in Alamosa is one of the only breweries to produce 100% of its ingredients on the farm where the beer is also produced. Sip the tasty results in the Beeryard Pavilion on-site. cofarmbeer.com

» Peach Street Distillers uses local fruits and grains raised by growers in the Palisade area and often upcycles local fruits that some deem “too ripe” for market. The tasting room is the perfect place for a tour, cocktail, and bite to eat. peachstreetdistillers.com

» Ska Brewing operates in an entirely wind-powered facility in Durango that produces beer, hard seltzers, and Skaqua, a nonalcoholic sparkling water in watermelon, lemon, and grapefruit flavors. On Thursday evenings in the summer, SKA-BQ features live music and beer and food specials in the
beer garden. skabrewing.com
