Colorado-based Carboy Winery pledged to donate 1% of all sales from its tasting rooms to support Zero Footprint + Restore Colorado campaign that promotes regenerative agriculture. By contributing part of the annual sales, thousands of 1% for the Planet members have raised over $300 million to support approved environmental partners around the globe. The nonprofit launched in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies.
Carboy is Colorado’s first winery to take part in the global movement, joining a list of 51 wineries across the country. Through holistic vineyard management, water conservation, innovative packaging solutions, and tasting room tap systems, Carboy continues to reduce its carbon footprint while creating award-winning wines and operating tasting rooms in Breckenridge, Denver, Littleton, and Palisade.
