Transformation is underway at the Clayton Hotel & Members Club, located in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, with a trio of new players. The new ownership group is led by Rockbridge (a hospitality investment firm based in Columbus, Ohio), and Dallas-based Makeready now manages operations of the property.
The collaboration builds on an established relationship with Rockbridge and Makeready already owning and operating Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek, with Denver-based BMC Investments as a limited partner. In addition, McClinton Heil, managing director for Halcyon, is overseeing both the Halcyon and Clayton.
Among the planned investments are improvements to the second floor, upgraded service levels, and two additional restaurants on the ground level. Alteño by Michelin-starred chef and owner Johnny Curiel is open, and the other eatery will be announced in the near future.
