The Colorado office of Imprint Events brought home two awards from the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) Annual Conference in February at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Florida.
The Denver-based company was presented the Best Community or Public Event award for Vail Octoberfest after being contacted only 10 weeks in advance of the annual celebration to produce a series of events. Having never produced a large-scale public festival but bringing extensive logistics management to the table, Imprint Events rallied a team of veteran planners, marketing experts, and operational wizards to create the largest event series in the festival’s history, setting records each weekend.
For a completely different type of gathering, Imprint Events secured the Best Virtual or Hybrid Event award for a global sales conference. The Imprint team was hired to manage production, content creation, and stage design. After several months of planning, organizers weighed the options of postponing the event until the following year due to the COVID-19 omicron variant that was looming at the time. Facing heavy hotel attrition, a decision was made two weeks prior to pivot to a hybrid conference with 750 virtual attendees. Creative solutions such as virtual trivia kept attendees engaged and educated about their company.
