The Slate Denver, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has appointed Michael Poompan executive chef. In this role, he oversees all food and beverage operations at the new 251-room hotel. Poompan has served as executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver and Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa and held culinary positions at Renaissance Long Beach Hotel and The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage.
