Colorado’s Westin Westminster recently announced that it has hired Chelsey Penoyer to serve as a catering sales manager and Kaytlin Powers to serve as business travel sales manager.
Penoyer, a certified wedding & event planner, welcomes her new position from the Embassy Suites Loveland, where she served as the catering manager and wedding coordinator. There she was able to increase wedding sales by 50 percent.
Powers most recently served as the group sales manager at The Westin Phoenix Downtown Hotel, where she received the 2013 “Westin Leader of the Year” award.
A graduate of Arizona State University, Powers’ other previous hospitality sales experience includes The Buttes, a Marriott Resort in Tempe, Ariz. and the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa in Chandler, Ariz.
